INCOMING STUDENTS :

Semesters dates
1st / Winter semester : end of September - end of January
2024 official dates : September 26th - February 7th

2nd / Spring semester : beginning of February - end of June

ISBA Courses for Erasmus students

Nomination deadlines
1st / winter semester : open from March onwards.
2nd / spring semester : open from October onwards.

Application deadlines
1st / winter semester : May 15
2nd / spring semester : November 15

Procedure
To perform one or two semester(s), you must send :

  • a portfolio
  • a motivation letter
  • a letter of nomination from your home school
  • a photocopy of your passport or identity card
  • a copy of your insurance certificate for the duration of your studies at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts - ISBA
  • the application form (see below)

Erasmus Student Network Besançon (local branch)
ESN Besançon is an association dedicated to welcoming and integrating international students, and opening up the local population to the world.
They can help you make sense of administrative papers, get free home supplies, etc. They also organise student nights (karaoke, bowling night, cafe international...) throughout the year.

BDE (Students Office)
BDE is in charge of promoting and livening up student life at ISBA. The team is composed of volunteers that organize themed parties throughout the year, help students get access to and discounts on project supplies and develop new partnerships to get good deals (vegetables baskets, etc.)
Don’t hesitate to introduce yourself to them (they have a dedicated space in the school) and join the team : etudianx.bde.isba@outlook.fr
